We are excited to share that our latest study, “Krüppel Regulates Cell Cycle Exit and Limits Adult Neurogenesis of Mushroom Body Neural Progenitors in Drosophila,” has been published as a Reviewed Preprint on eLife. This research uncovers the pivotal role of the transcription factor Krüppel (Kr) in promoting timely cell cycle exit of mushroom body neuroblasts (MBNBs), thereby ensuring proper neural development.
Our findings also shed light on the antagonistic function of Kr-h1 in this process, contributing to a deeper understanding of the molecular mechanisms governing neurogenesis.
Jane, Claire and Susan are the equally contributed first authors in this paper. We are currently working hard to revise this manuscript.
We extend our gratitude to all collaborators and reviewers who contributed to this work.
